I'm a 30-something, Single (& plan to stay that way!) asexual/nonsexual, staunchly anti-vaccine, Gay Rights Supporting, Attachment Parenting Promoting (co-sleeping, extended breast feeding, baby-wearing, cloth diapering, unschooling/homeschooling, gentle discipline etc.), Conscientious Omnivore (for the most part, anyway!), Raw Milk Loving, Organic Promoting, Bill Gates DESPISING & Bill Maher Loving, Secular agnostic-atheist Humanist (raised Hindu), Indian-American, Tree-hugging "Crunchy"/"Granola" Progressive Pro-Choice Liberal Libertarian-Democrat.
Not that I believe in superstition (and I generally consider all organized religion to be superstition) including things like astrology, but I'm a Gemini. I'm 5'1 (yes, I'm a shorty!) with Dark brown eyes, and Chest-length, jet-black hair usually worn in one long braid, or a bun and I have 2 piercings in each ear & one piercing in the nose.
I'm a pretty opinionated person, and hold very strong & passionate views on certain subjects - views that are NOT necessarily congruent with the "mainstream" or "conventional" establishment and I frequently post and/or comment on articles & other stuff (pictures, video clips, etc.) about the issues I feel strongly about. Although it can come off as being judgmental or critical, it truly is not, and just comes from a good place, with the best of intentions, and its just who I am - and I accept that.

I'm very passionate about what I believe in and I am very outspoken & vocal about my views - particularly when it comes to politics, vaccines & other allopathic medicine safety (or the SHEER LACK thereof!), organic food/living & "locavorism" (at least, whenever/wherever possible!), urban & suburban homesteading, alternative energy sources & "off-the-grid" living, survivalism, raw milk/dairy, attachment parenting issues (co-sleeping, lactivism, the anti-vaccination movement, homeschooling & unschooling, etc.), and the corruption & cronyism in this modern US government's corporatocratic political (and medical, educational, agricultural, and every other) system.
I am a Lactivist, Intactivist, Anti-Vacctivist (anti-vaccine activist) and a conspiracy REALIST (as opposed to "conspiracy theorist" which implies a lack of belief in those views – because *some* conspiracy theories ARE TRUE! Not all but some of them are!).
My main hobbies & interests are politics, baking & cooking, Facebook, organic food & living and "locavorism" (at least, whenever/wherever possible!), raw milk/dairy, attachment parenting issues (co-sleeping, lactivism, the anti-vaccination movement, homeschooling & unschooling, etc.), reading, travel, the "back-to-the-land" movement & (sub)urban homesteading/sea-steading, singing, dance, alternative medicine & organic (natural) health/disease prevention, permaculture, TV & movies, Bollywood, alternative "green" energy (solar, wind, hydro-electric, biofuels, etc.), sustainable "off-the-grid" organic living, urban/suburban organic farming, survivalism, ethnic cuisines (Greek, Thai, Japanese, Mexican, etc.), ANYTHING 80's & 90's (TV, movies, food, pop culture, clothes, toys, etc.) and the corruption & cronyism in this modern US government's corporatocratic political (and medical, educational, agricultural, and every other) system.
I'm also very interested in music & dance (especially ethnic/world music and the Bharata Natyam & Kathak dances of India), crafts, the Konkani language, creative writing, reading & writing fanfiction, foreign languages, and collecting keychains, porcelain dolls, & 80's-90's toys/memorabilia. I also love spending quality time with my family & friends, and reconnecting with people from the past.
With strangers, in real-life, I'm usually kind of shy & quiet at first, but once I get to know someone, I become a lot more outgoing & fun. I'm often talkative, but I'm also very sensitive & a caring listener. I enjoy meeting those with different viewpoints & backgrounds and love a good, friendly, CIVIL debate, on various topics, now & then, but I particularly getting to know & become friends with those with similar interests & beliefs, with whom can share common ideas.
